WorkHub
One calendar and one task list for everyone who works for several companies at the same time. WorkHub brings every company's Google Calendar together, stops people double-booking you, and turns your notes, meetings and email into tasks. It runs on your own Mac.
- Every company's calendar, in onecalendar
- “Busy” blocks on your other calendarscalendar
- Tasks from notes, meetings and emailClaude
- Time booked for a taskyou confirm
What WorkHub does
Several jobs, one schedule.
One calendar for every company
WorkHub brings each company's Google Calendar into one main calendar that you pick. Each work event is copied in with the company's name in front of its title, so you can see whose meeting it is at a glance. Attendees are never invited or notified.
No more double-booking
When you're busy for one company, WorkHub puts a private placeholder titled “Busy”, with no details, on your other companies' calendars. Colleagues at each company see you're taken without seeing what you're doing.
Tasks from your notes, meetings and email
WorkHub turns the notes you type, your meeting transcripts and, only if you turn it on, your recent work emails into a task list. It does this with Claude, Anthropic's AI model.
Time for the work itself
Pick a task and WorkHub finds free time for it. It books the time block in your calendar only when you click to confirm.
Your data
It stays on your Mac.
WorkHub runs on your own Mac, and that's where it keeps your data: your Google sign-in tokens, your task list, and a short-term cache of your own calendar events. Your Claude API key is kept in the macOS Keychain.
Lightning Labs runs no server for WorkHub. No Google user data is sent to, stored by or visible to Lightning Labs or its staff.
To suggest tasks, WorkHub sends the text you choose to process to Anthropic's Claude API, using your own API key: your notes, your meeting transcripts and, only if you turn on email reading, your recent emails.
Read the WorkHub privacy policy for the full details of what WorkHub accesses, how it's used, where it's stored, who it's shared with and how to delete it. You can also read the WorkHub terms of use.
What WorkHub asks Google for
- Basic account info (email address)To tell your connected accounts apart.
- Google Calendar (read and write)To read your events, copy work events into your main calendar, add “Busy” placeholders to your other calendars and find free time for tasks.
- Gmail (read-only, optional)Off by default. If you turn it on for a work account, WorkHub reads recent inbox messages to find things you need to act on. It never sends, deletes, labels or changes email.
WorkHub's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
